"Mhmm....." Cha-hee grumbled to herself, as she slowly woke up. Cha-hee opened her eyes then got up quickly. "W-wait, didn't I become a carpet, wait no, didn't I die?" she said questioning herself.
Cha-hee was starting to get really confused and nervous, that she didn't even notice what was around her. "H-hold up, m-my hands t-their small and pale?!" Cha-hee quickly looked around the room.
She was shocked at how she did not notice the furniture around her, they all seem way over her paycheck. Then Cha-hee's mind relaxed and calm down a bit, she then realized how comfy and big the bed she was sleeping in was.
She quickly looked around, trying to find a mirror. Cha-hee found a mirror and quickly walked towards it. Cha-hee gasped once she saw herself in the reflection.
"Wow, I look so freaking cute and my face it's so smooth and chubby," she said adoring her new face, she looked about five with white hair that resembled the snow and blue eyes that were like jewels.
Cha-hee turned away from the mirror after admiring herself for a bit. The room was white-themed, everything was marbled, white, or white with gold. It screams rich.
She then thought the original child in this body was most likely very mature. Suddenly something snapped into her head. She looked into the mirror again, her face dropped. She pleaded in her head begging that her thoughts were wrong.
"Ah, great, wow destiny do love me. Ahaha please don't tell me I am Ire-" she then was cut off by knocking.
"Young Lady Irene, may I come in?" said an unfamiliar voice, it was smoothing about her voice. An alarm wrong through her head. She realized who she had possessed. Cha-hee was in denial, a state of panic.
"Uh, Young Lady Irene, are you okay, can I come in?" said the voice again. Cha-hee snapped back into time. "Ah oh, yes you may," she replied as calm as she could be in this situation.
The mystery person entered the room, she was wearing maid clothing with dirty blond hair tied into a bun with shining yellow eyes. "Oh dear, Young Lady Irene, what are you doing out of bed?" She said as she saw Cha-hee sitting in the vanity looking near the mirror.
"Ah, yes I just wanted to get out of bed early this time, uh um Elle," Cha-hee hesitated when she responded as the lady smiled then walked over to Cha-hee. The lady then picked up the brush and started brushing the child's hair.
Michelle Jordan, Irene's maid, is like Irene's mother figure. Michelle stood with her till her death by saying that she was the one who pushed Alice down the stairs, not Irene. Michelle was such a sweet person. She loved Irene like her own child, started to take care of her when she was just 19 years old.
Irene often called her Elle than Michelle, Cha-hee was happy she remembered that, it would've been quite weird.
Michelle was the only one who pitied her after Irene was deemed a child murderer because her mother died at birth. Cha-hee felt salty, she knew the fact but decided to ignore it, Irene's story was similar to Cha-hee's.
Cha-hee zoned out for a while, then snapped back in time when she realized Elle was done brushing the child's hair. "Alright, Young Lady Irene, let's wash you up and get you ready for breakfast, which will be prepared in 5 minutes," Elle said cheerily.
"Thank you, Elle, I appreciate it," Cha-hee replied with a thank you mattered tone. Elle looked at her and smiled softly, "Just doing my job, Young Lady." she said and left. Other new maids walked in and helped Cha-hee wash up, then changed her into some fancy dress.
Cha-hee found this weird. She thanked them and then went downstairs freshened up. However, as she walked down, she suddenly remembered the novel, everyone in the mansion she's currently living in will die.
Due to the Grand Duke, Irene was sent away to live by herself with servants in a separate mansion from her family.
Cha-hee gripped onto her dress and stopped walking. She found Irene's situation very unfair. Also these innocent people's future...Cha-hee then sighed, maybe she did have a good heart. Cha-hee wants to prevent everyone here from dying.
She reached downstairs, she did somewhat admire the dress she had on. She was in a cute blue dress. She then looked around. Her mouth opened to an O shape as she realized she had no idea, where breakfast was.
Cha-hee then spotted Elle. "Um, Elle.." she said questionably confused, "Yes, ah, follow me, Young Lady Irene," she responded instance. Cha-hee guesses Irene gets lost here too. She was led to the dining room.
The room was way too big for one child, she sat down and her breakfast was prepared in front of her, smelling good. Cha-hee ate it up real quick. She was pretty hungry, she didn't have dinner before she died.
"Elle, I am finished," she said, Elle nodded, "Is there anything you want to do?" she asked. "Uh, I think I would like to take a walk around the mansion," Cha-hee responded. "Of course," Elle leaving her alone.
Then she went to explore.
Cha-hee walked around the mansion and realized everyone had white aesthetics, in general, this is the white palace. Then she walked into the library. "Ah, this is where Irene hanged out, she loved reading. She was very gifted." Cha-hee whispered to herself quietly.
She looked behind her, there were 2 maids behind her. It was an order by Elle, Irene shouldn't go place by herself without maids. Cha-hee asked them they could wait outside, so they did. She went in, saw a sitting area. Grabbed papers and an ink pen and started to think of the story of "I'm Alice".
She quickly got herself seated.
"Okay, what happened," she asked herself, Cha-hee recapped the story in her paper.
[Irene was the fiancée of the Crown Prince, Josiah William Alden before the douche bag got with Alice which who can blame him, it's Alice for god sake. Even if Irene was beautiful, gifted, and everything you want as a wife, she had the worst personality. They also had an arranged marriage by the Emperor, who liked Irene very much.]
Cha-hee was now 2 confirmed supporters, Elle and the Emperor. "Wait, didn't Irene have a personal knight?" she asked as she realized she hasn't seen the knight.
She then remembered he was only assigned on Irene's 6th birthday as a gift from Irene's "loving" father, Grand Duke, Elijah Oliver Garcia. However, he didn't even show up. Cha-hee laughed, the Grand Duke is horrible, but it's okay, got Irene got a knight though.
"Wow, so she was pushed into this role didn't she?" she said pitying Irene.
Irene was neglected for her whole childhood abandoned by everyone and lost the ones she had. Cha-hee thought, Irene and she are similar and foolish people, they both thought they could gain love. However, luckily Cha-hee got away, but not Irene. She died at 19.
Cha-hee's eyes widened, the more she remembered the storyline the more reasonable Irene's actions were. Alice came into Irene's life with her mother and took Irene's life.
When Irene was just 13 when Alice came to the Grand Duke's residence. Alice was just a mere Count's daughter, but she was still brought here. The Count died in a terrible carriage incident, the Grand Duke took the family in for some time to help them to honor him.
Count Beverly was Grand Duke's oldest friend. In the end, Alice and her mother, Stella, both moved into the main mansion which Irene has been trying to live in for years. Irene was jealous. She was jealous of the fact Alice took her brothers as her own. Irene was jealous she gained her father's love within a year. Irene was mad that Stella and Elijah ended up marrying.
Alice and Irene became step-sisters in the end. Irene supposedly bullied and mistreated Stella and Alice. And Irene gravely lost her family's favor, even though they never liked her.
Cha-hee was starting to tear up as she recalled all the moments.
Everyone died in this mansion, serving a purpose. They protected, defended, and died for Irene. Some were fired and some were killed.
Irene ended up dying too, alone. I sat in silence stared into the paper, then flipped the paper backward, and wrote, 'PLAN A'
"My purpose here is to protect everyone here and serve the justice Irene Garcia deserved," Cha-hee said passionately.
For the loving people in this mansion.
Cha-hee was sorry, for her and Irene.
"I am not Cha-hee anymore, for now on, I am Irene Gracia."
