Alex coughed violently. Luckily he was pulled to safety but the owner of the office, The vice chair of the Hero Association had died.
"How sad." a woman watched and sighed
"Obviously you villains did this!!" They snapped
"NO WAY!!" A voice yelled
"They stole for us!" a girl yelled on the verge of tears
"Sorry?" Alex exclaimed
The woman identified herself as a villain named Lina. She was part of the Unit, Crimson under Pillar Ajkula.
"You see, a student's backpack went missing that contained the bombs he made in class." Lina told, " Luckily, his bag has a tracker, and here we are."
"Ah!" the heroes exclaimed
"I hope you have a good explanation...WHY!?" She frowned squeezing her folded fan
Her blood trickled down towards the handle and they saw she was holding herself back. Although they honestly don't know what happened.
"Is it important?" a man asked
"YES!!" the girl yelled "My brother and I can't get a grade."
"Grade?" Ray repeated
"We were planning to attack a Nights race camp," Lina informed taking a phone out.
"I thought I said not to call me." Ajkula's voice echoed
"We have a problem." She told
"What sort of problem?" he asked
Lina smiled, "The hero-kind. Pause the honeymoon."
Moments later, an unhappy Ajkula came and Lina was seated with the heroes. He felt the stench of work and sighed to himself. The villain was unwillingly told the story and at the end, his brows knitted together.
"I must say. You've become smarter my heroic counterpart," he commented clapping his hands.
"We won't stoop so low." Tempest refuted
"We've gone lower." the villains admitted
"Don't you have shame!!" Sofi yelled
The villains looked like they were cursing her in their hearts and stayed silent momentarily. The heroes were also silent wondering what had happened.
"Whatcha thinking about?"
They saw Multi Mask seated on the desk holding a question mark with an interested mask. They told him the story too and Ajkula felt like going home and becoming farther away.
"What's there to think about?" Multi Mask went "The damn hero just framed us."
The temperature dropped as Multi Mask got off the table. He prepared to leave as Sofi rose, "YOU JUST WANT TO CANCEL THE ALLIANCE!!"
"Keep telling yourself that." Lina scoffed
"COMPENSATION!!!" the girl yelled "It won't just end. Compensate my brother."
"Give the sweet child some ammo, heroes." Multi Mask laughed
Thunder entered with rage, "No. Is this what you're after? Making us dependent on you?"
"Give it." the girl frowned
She released lightning everywhere in the room. Surprisingly Thunder advanced toward the small child at full force. They were stunned as the hero flew backward into a vending machine and her brother was in front of her.
"Self-defense," he said
The heroes saw Lina open her fan showing the number eight. Ajkula held up a dagger with the number seven and Multi Mask had a paddle with the number seven.
"Excellent display from one of the greatest heroes." Ajkula went walking towards him.
He looked down at the person and the soda of the machine burst. The contents spilled on him and Multi Mask left quietly as if uninterested. It was sunset when they finally left and Ajkula frowned sadly.
At the time Navaeh was with Michael. They were on their way to drop off Nava.
"We're being followed," Michael whispered
Navaeh was confused, "I don't sense anything."
He grabbed her hand and ran into an alley. They looked at the people that followed with a manacling glow.
"Michael. Long time no see." The woman laughed
"Why are you following us?" He demanded
Michael glared at the familiar faces with disdain and they smiled back at him. Someone came out of the shadows and pushed him into the wall. It became silent for Michael to watch a blade come out of her belly.
"Nothing personal, alright?" The woman went "Just following orders, you understand?"
"Why?" He responded lowly
He noticed that Navaeh's wound wasn't healing and a wave of emotions came over her face.
"Seriously. Just pick up another girl, did your type change?" they laughed
They were surprised as the head of a nearby comrade fell to the floor splattering blood over the walls. A barrier appeared blocking them from leaving. A dark aura emitted from him as he looked at them.
"Are you doing this just for a girl?" they reacted
Michael had an ominous smile, "You should treat people better. Don't treat her like an item."
Another comrade died by being cut into two halves and they advanced toward him. Michael looked up and twirled the dagger in his hand and it was too fast for the woman. She was in a pool of her comrades' blood and couldn't stop shaking at the sight.
"Michael, why are you doing this?" she yelled
Michael picked Navaeh up and made her drink a healing potion. He coldly looked at her before turning into the darkness of the alley.
"Why won't you kill me? Think I won't rat you out?" she laughed
He sighed, "We only need one person for information."
He sped forward and disappeared into the night. The woman heard footsteps and saw a man staring down at her.
"Man, never knew Michael was such a dangerous man." the man laughed "Take the woman and create something to cover this up."
The woman became unconscious and was carried away. A person watching from a distance away with a telescope. The villains were surprised when they couldn't find any trace of Michael and Navaeh.
Navaeh slightly opened her eyes and saw a worried Michael stitching her wound. He did his best to smile and told her that she'd be alright. Oddly Navaeh found herself drifting back to sleep.
"Where am I?" she wondered
Zyder poured red wine onto the floor and gained the other J. members' attention. His father was upset and irritated with a smile.
"Something.....has derailed." the eldest brother frowned dropping the glass "It needs to be culled."
The red wine mixed with shards of glass was an eyesore and something else but they didn't know what.
