Ama slept off waiting for Pierre, but luckily, Pierre came in late with a bag filled with birthday gifts he bought to share with Ama in the morning. He drops them in the kitchen and walks straight into her room to see that she's fast asleep.
Ama twirls countlessly on the bed because she is sweating so badly. Pierre looks down at her as he touches her forehead to realize that she has caught a fever. Instantly, Ama opens her eyes due to the touch on her forehead. She saw that it was Pierre, so she sat up.
"You are sweating so badly with this cold weather!" Pierre said.
"I'm okay. I need to take a cold bath," Ama voiced out tiredly. "Why did you come in so late?"
"Well, I got caught up on something." He said, "C'mon, Ama, don't act stubborn. How can you take a cold bath when you've already had a fever?"
