(Sean's Perspective)
By the time Darby returns to Dorian's SUV for me, it's clear that whatever is happening, it's bad. Real bad.
Behind a closed door, I hear Ian and Silas arguing as we pass on the way to the guest wing where we were staying before.
"What else can I do about it, Ian? If you've got another answer, I'd be happy to hear—they're my brothers for pity's sake! It still doesn't change the fact that they've created multiple public incidents and they aren't going to be able to resolve this any other way!" Silas argues.
"I understand that. I genuinely do," Ian replies cautiously, always the diplomat. "But what you're thinking is barbaric. It hasn't been done in centuries—."
An icy chill creeps up my spine at my Alpha's words. It grows worse realizing that whatever has already been exchanged between the two of them, what I've just heard indicates it's reached critical mass.
