(Sean's Perspective)
Even though the ocean is choppy off the shoals, the superyacht on loan to Desert by South Pacific pack is remarkably unfazed. It rolls smoothly with the swells, but not so much that anyone is overly concerned about it. Of course it helps that the thing is loaded down with heavy cranes and storage equipment. None of which change how unsettled I am internally, as I make my way from the helm to the interior control room as the first of the day's dives launches.
Using wireless remotes, two operators navigate the submersible drones away from the yacht as their support vessel. All from the comfort and safety of the surface, once the unmanned submarines are deployed in the water. The entire set-up is frankly impressive, and once I get Desert pack back on its feet, I plan to pursue a discussion with Liko Topsana, the Alpha of South Pacific pack, to get one of these babies for use here, along Desert territory's extensive waterfront.
