Traveling in my sylphide form in short bursts as we have to for Dorian's comfort, it takes longer than I'd like to return to Shenzhen. It takes still longer for Sean and Dorian to agree upon then pick up the rental vehicle that we'll use to return to the lost and hidden underwater city in the morning.
And it takes far longer for Sean and Dorian to locate the kind of equipment they each prefer for the task at hand. Cameras and special underwater paper for Sean, and collection containers and fixatives with chemical testing kits for Dorian to try to isolate whatever toxins or infection is killing the coral and the various species that typically live on it.
Despite my protests and Sean's insistence on an early start overland by vehicle with our load of supplies, they require yet another stop before we're able to get dinner.
