----Characteristics----
[Presence:] 5
Gloops are the most common species of slime, generally found on grass plains and the inside of caves. Their color can appear as blue, green, or yellow. As one would expect from a slime, they look like thick walking blobs with a certain degree of sentient, but nothing beyond animalistic. Their sizes range from 55 cm to 1.4 meters.
Gloops feed themselves off of literally anything so long it's not bigger than themselves. As they crawl on land, they absorb any kind of material whenever they need to, such as rocks, grass, fruits, wood, leaves, weapons, living beings, etc. When the target is absorbed, it is gradually melted and digested within the gloop's body, turning into nutrients for itself. In the case of living beings that breathes off of oxygen, they tend to die of suffocation first.
While very simplistic creatures, gloops can be quite hard to deal with. They are impervious to most kinds of physical damage. A sword attack would just pass right through its body, as it is not physical to begin with, and more liquid instead. Due to this, one could cut a gloop into extremely small pieces and it would still be able to reform itself over the course of one minute. They do not feel tired and do not need to breathe. Despite all of this, they cannot regenerate from incineration, so fire magic is a must-need when fighting these creatures.
Gloops can fight back sometimes. In such cases, they tackle and bite the opponent if it's bigger than them. If the opponent is smaller, they simply assault it and slam their slimy bodies on it to absorb it into themselves. Green and yellow slimes have been seen absorbing water and shooting out of its mouth as a jet, capable of shattering rocks.
Gloops don't need a partner to procreate. Their reproduction is asexual, which is done when they reach at least one month old and after eating a certain quantity of food.
