Nefretiri
"What the hell was all that about?" I demand when I'm sure we're alone.
It was three in the morning, but I wasn't tired.
We couldn't send the clan leaders back to their homes, so they stayed here in the territory but not in the packhouse. We had the room, but letting all our enemies sleep under our roof wasn't wise. So, Taylor and the council had organized housing for the weekend. Some would be staying in hotels, and others in some of the pack properties. It wasn't ideal, but my beta assured me no one should complain about their accommodation or treatment. However, that was missing from my list of concerns.
"You're not the only one making plans, Nefra," Taylor shrugged, sitting on the couch in my office. It was me, both Beta's and Gamma's, the council, and Danny and Sierra. "You asked us to help you. That's what we did."
