"Damn it!" I screamed, crawling out of the pool I hadn't meant to jump into. "Fuck you! Whatever you are! Fuck you!"
How many more rounds do I have to go?
I figured something out about this place. There is no actual exit. You can keep going all you want, but there is no way out. So, you keep going in circles until you want to give up. I refuse to do that, but it doesn't mean I'm not pissed about it. My cousin wasn't like this. He was straightforward and liked to be clear with things.
He'd hate this.
So why did he keep coming up in this place? The small alcove with his room wasn't his only connection. There was much more, but you had to know him to realize that. Since we'd grown up together, it was hard for me to miss those things. Maybe that's why I was so frustrated.
Some of the things were from our past, but others weren't.
