"you're not getting up," Cabe sat beside me on the bed and placed his hand on my belly, stopping me from moving. "I'm staying here to keep you here."
"Traitor," I grumbled, sighing and laying back on the pillow. "I'm okay."
"No, you're not," he challenged and became more serious. You can't... hear what you heard, throw up, and be okay."
"That's not why I threw up." I didn't feel sick, but that didn't stop Cabe from forcing me up to bed. "I... wasn't that shocked, actually. I know I'm broken... I just didn't realize how much."
"Except it looks like you did it to yourself," he smiled sadly, and I saw a hint of Odie in that smile. "It's okay... not to be okay. You taught me that."
"Yeah, and I'm not okay," I confessed, carefully turning on my side. "I'm just not gonna crack because of it."
