Ivan
"How did you know that?" I demanded, getting up, and since I couldn't shift into my wolf, the snake fangs came out, piercing my bottom lip. Damn, I had to learn how to control them.
"Calm down, Ivan," he held up his hands, his expression calm, but I saw the concern in his eyes. He wasn't afraid; I didn't smell it on him. So, why did he look that way? Was he worried... for me? "I apologize. I forget that... There are boundaries for a person's child, regardless of who they are. I don't mean harm to your daughter, but I know who she is. I know what all of your children and those of the others, whether they're alive or not, are."
"How?" I ask again, still not convinced I was alright. It was bad enough that he seemed to know so much about me, but learning about my pups was another issue entirely.
