"Luna?" Zoe looked up from the book I was having her read, concern written on her face. "Are you okay?"
"Huh?" I blinked, coming back from my thoughts. I'd been trying to read through a different book but kept going over the same sentence. "Yeah… just, distracted… How's it going?"
"Luna…" She gave me the same expression her mom gave me when she was at the clinic, warning me not to ignore the problem. "What's wrong?"
"I'm fine, I promise," I assure her, but I'm unsure if I'm telling the truth. "Come on, you've got a lot to learn and not a lot of time."
"Luna, your nose wrinkles when you lie," she accuses, and I awkwardly touch my nose. "Come on, what's up?"
"It does not!" I try playing it off, but she gives me the teenager glare, and I wince. Was I that obvious? "Okay… okay. I'm fine, really, but… I keep getting distracted. That's all."
