I didn't know what to do.
She was staring at me, but I was stopped by her face. She was beautiful, but there were burn marks across her left eye and part of her jaw. It didn't take away from her looks. On the contrary, it enhanced them. The marks weren't raised and somehow looked intentional. Yet, that's different from where your focus went. It was the last thing you'd notice about her.
As an Apsara, I understand beauty. I know it's about what people find pleasing and the energy surrounding someone. You can be aesthetically gorgeous and still be ugly if your energy is poisoned. This woman is different. Her features are pretty, but her energy pulls you in. She could've been a monster, but you'd still want to look at her.
Yet, if I had to be honest, she's almost too beautiful.
