"It's so pretty!" Willow cooed, her face pressed against the glass of one of the jewelry cases. "They're shiny."
"Yeah," I smiled, taking a second to enjoy the quiet and wonder of the shop. Nothing seemed to have changed from my memory of this place, but I couldn't be sure. "Just be careful, okay? Ask me before you grab something."
"Okay…" Willow nodded but continued to look. She was happy staring at everything, and in my heart, I knew she wouldn't want to pick anything up. Her old pack would've never let her get this close, and that was more than enough for her curiosity. "What do you do with all this? Do you keep it?"
"I keep some of it, but a shop trades the things you have to other people for things they have… In the human world, it's mostly money, but Danny and Brandon can teach you about it when you get older. Here, we trade differently."
