"Nefra!" Vince cried as my legs gave out, and I fell to the ground. I managed to grab onto the wall so I didn't hurt myself, but it was still scary. "Fuck, are you alright? Someone get Odie!"
"I'm fine, I'm okay," I soothed, but I was shaken. "I lost my balance… But… someone get Odie... just in case."
I wonder why that happened.
One second, I was fine, and the next, all the blood rushed to my head, and I couldn't stay standing. What was worse was that I had the sudden urge to start crying. It didn't help that I was having false labor pains, which would've had me panicking, except that Kali and Valen both insisted they'd know when we were in actual labor. Still, any fall isn't good for any pregnant woman. Still, one with triplets who had the power to accelerate their growth simply because they couldn't control their magic isn't better. So, I was willing to be cautious.
