Ivan
Jushion was out of his mind.
He tried lunging for Sati again, and the people with him were forced to hold him. I didn't move, ensuring Sati stayed where I could protect her. No matter what happened or anyone said, no one would hurt my mate. If that meant I got in trouble, then so be it. However, it turned out I had nothing to worry about.
Sati pissed him off, and he seemed to be losing his mind.
The nymph who'd broken up the fun I was having breaking Jushion's hand was watching him with actual displeasure. The aloofness was gone, and she looked seconds away from punching him herself. He disregarded what we'd been told, letting his anger take over. It blinded him to reality just like it had the last time we met. The stakes had been high then; they were higher now. The only excuse he might be able to use is the insanity plea, but I hoped they wouldn't allow that. Jushion didn't deserve mercy.
