Sati/Nefretiri
Maybe I shouldn't have yelled that with Richard, but I couldn't stop myself.
He was walking toward Ivan, and my safety didn't matter—not that he could hurt me here. However, it did mean he now knew I was there, and by the look in his eyes, he already knew. That was unfortunate, but it didn't change the fact that I was now stuck in the middle of whatever was happening.
"Sati," Ivan said my name and my focus returned to him. Butterflies erupted in my belly, and despite the danger, my heart fluttered. "Sati!"
