"What level?" Leviathan didn't look annoyed or frustrated. He seemed genuinely concerned. That couldn't be good. "Or was it someone who managed to earn privileges?"
"William N Hepburn-Bourreau." The name didn't mean anything to me, but Chico said it, and Leviathan paled. The color fully drained from his face, and his concern turned to fear. "No one knows how he did it or where he's gone."
"William Hepburn?" Leviathan repeated the name, covering his mouth. "Chico… if he gets to the core…"
"You're not saying anything that everyone doesn't know," Shrugging, Chico glanced at me before turning back to the Ge'llin, or whatever he really is. "They've sent everyone after him, and the core's been warned on all sides. It was not a pleasant time to summon angels, demons, Entit'a, and the mortal factions, but from what I heard, they all changed their tune when they heard."
