I got the best meal since Nefra's cooking and advice I desperately needed. I still need to find out what this game is and why they keep talking about it like I've already lost, but the old guy was right. There is no such thing as coincidence. My reason for being here was Sati, and I wasn't leaving without her. However, coming here felt too easy. Had I tricked Leviathan, or was there something else at play?
"No," I finished my burrito, still thinking about the memory it triggered before picking up the slice of pizza that tasted just like the one I used to drive to Denver to get. "Buy your own food."
