"It's a dress shop." Taylor pouts, staring at the building like it's done something to her.
"It is." Nefera looked at the card in her hand, confirming the address. "I told you it was."
"I know, but I was expecting something different." My sister kept staring at the building, seeming disappointed.
Honestly, so was I.
We went back and forth last night, trying to figure out whether to show up, but eventually, we knew we had to come. Nefera brought the business card, and Luke returned the other things in case we needed them. As an added precaution, he, some of his warriors, and my pack were down the street. On the off chance, this was a trap. What I still couldn't understand was why Nefera brought Taylor. In the words of my mate, Taylor was level-headed in a crisis.
