You may have heard that rich people are eccentric, but this went several steps further than that. Tonight's theme was overindulgence; my brain had difficulty processing it all. There was so much food that my pack could've eaten several servings each, and there would still be enough for another week. It was all decadent and rich, ordinary things elevated beyond a five-star restaurant. It didn't end there.
Everything was made of treasure.
The tables, chairs, plates, silverware, napkins, and centerpieces. What made me feel sick was how familiar they looked. I've seen the patterns on the dishes and the embroidery on the tablecloth. It's the same design Nefra created when she let her magic show when I introduced her to the pack. That meant Melissa had Nefra here at some point. It explained the clothes she'd handed to Jessica. Maybe they'd been made for my mate.
