"They're beautiful." I marveled at the sheep as I tried getting closer.
Quinten had agreed to take me outside to see the animals that supposedly helped with my accelerated pregnancy. Cabe and the girl weren't allowed to see the flock, so they waited inside like before. The minute we stepped outside, I regretted agreeing to come here. The air was heavy and smelled like incoming rain, but there wasn't a cloud in the sky. Thankfully, the dress was light, and breathed. Otherwise, I'd be in hell.
"Don't get too close to them," Quinten warned as we stepped onto the grass. "Unless you want to be poisoned."
