"Oh, I have to hear this!" a woman approaches us, interrupting Marcus before he can comment. "Hi, I'm sorry. I'm Katie, Alpha Jamie's mate."
"Hi, nice to meet you," She grabs my offered hand and drags me to the closest seats.
"I'm human, too, so I appreciate how daunting it is to find your mates with a werewolf, especially an Alpha." Ivan follows us, and when I glance at Marcus, I'm not surprised to see he's not pleased.
"Well, I knew a little about them," I confess, turning back to Katie.
"Really?" she grins. "How?"
"My Nefra's a sorceress." Ivan declares proudly, wrapping an arm around my chair.
"You are? Do you know how to read cards?" She asks, becoming more excited. Marcus's attention grows at that question, and his eyes gleam strangely.
"I can, though I'm still learning, if I'm being honest." Sarah had taught me how to do it, but I couldn't interpret it like she could.
