"There it is," Greg sighed when he was done. Four images lay in a square for us to compare, all the proof we needed. "I pulled up the road map of the territory. I've marked each spot."
The first two images were the original painting and map. You couldn't see anything special, but when I imagined the map and star points in my head, I hadn't thought of them like images. I treated it like I would've during a mission, each dot a hotspot. The moment I'd thought of it like that, I saw the pattern we'd been missing, and I was sure Nefera was on the right path. Tony had left things hidden in plain sight where everyone could see them. However, you wouldn't have put it together if you thought of it in any other way than an intelligence officer. He hadn't thought like a soldier. He'd thought like a spy, like his mate. The only one who could've figured it out was Vince, but he hadn't.
Why?
