I tried opening more of my senses but couldn't.
Mind-linking is easy for me because I've done it for so long. However, it's also not based on your senses. It's thought and mental communication. Sometimes, I can send and receive images from someone in my pack, but it's not more complicated. It's why I get headaches when the pack bombards me.
Unfortunately, this technique uses that and much more.
My senses wanted to connect, but the power it took reached into places of my soul I didn't know existed. The threads and flow of who I was needed to intertwine with Nefera's, and I didn't know how. The only thing I learned how to do was share feelings and thoughts. So, I struggled. There was also the issue of being unable to keep her there and talk to anyone else.
I saw them speaking, and I understood some of it and was able to nod or shake my head, but that was it.
