"You're getting a headache?" Lyka, the witch of the west, arched an eyebrow, setting her cards down.
"Yeah," I rubbed my eyes, feeling exhausted from staring at the bowl in front of me. "It's fine."
"Hardly," She got up, walking to the bar at the far end of the room. "Take a break."
"I don't drink," I warned, watching as she looked at the bottles. "So, no alcohol."
"Good to know, but not what I'm searching for," She threw me a smile before turning back to the shelves. Her Australian accent emphasizes every vowel. "Honestly, I'm impressed with how much you've gotten through. We're actually in more advanced levels now."
"How is staring into a bowl of oil more challenging?" We'd been doing this for the last hour. Everything else had gone by relatively easy. Then again, I'd had training in detecting magic, the central area of today's tests.
