"When it rains, it pours around here, doesn't it?" Cabe sighed, leaning against the tree I hadn't thrown up under. "What the fuck is going on with the elves?"
"I don't know," It was the truth. I had no clue what they were arguing about or why things seemed seconds from exploding. "Odie, what the fuck do I do?"
"Well, the first thing you're going to do is calm down," He sighed, stopping me from pacing. "Your BP will skyrocket, and you'll hurt baby Devin."
"I'm trying, but things keep slamming down in front of me," I wasn't trying to make myself sick or hurt my baby, but how could I stay calm when we were under this kind of attack? "So, what's next?"
"Sit down and breathe," He pointed to a fallen tree, a no-nonsense look in his eyes. "Or I'm forcing you inside and up to your room."
