Nefretiri
I wish I had more time to enjoy my house, but time seemed to rush today.
The day passed, and Ivan ensured I got exactly what I hoped for. We pretended the world wasn't burning around us, and for those hours, everything felt ordinary, at least as much as it can be when you were part of a werewolf pack. At one, Ivan told me to shower and change, which I needed. It felt wonderful to break everything in, and I was acting like a kid opening a new toy.
"Is that the doorbell?" I frowned, pulling away from Ivan's lips as the sound echoed through the house again. "We have a doorbell?"
"Damn, they're early," Ivan ignored my question with a sigh. The problem with breaking in a new shower with your mate is that it's too tempting to really break it in together. "I told them three."
"Who?" I blinked, hurriedly drying myself off with the towel I had just dropped to the floor. "The party isn't until seven."
