I watched as my mate explained the first of three parts.
No one spoke, fascinated by what she had to say. She didn't tell it like a story, which is what I was sure everyone expected since she dealt with the children more than the adults. Instead, Nefera explained some of her family history. The fact her bloodline had been hidden and protected for over a thousand years was a way for our kind to survive. Then, she went into greater detail about how magic has many sources and that she knew how everyone forgot that period and believed something different. She also told them that the pack had accepted and agreed to this.
That had everyone screaming and yelling again, but she didn't give them a chance to get out of line.
