Everyone was done eating, and we couldn't put it off anymore.
We planned to tell everyone about the baby tomorrow, but it was better to do it today. As for everything else, I didn't want to do this during Nefera's birthday. That didn't mean I wasn't concerned. Not when I spotted Tatiana sitting with Zoe. She couldn't read my mind but wasn't part of our pack. Then again, neither was Patrick, and he was sitting with Brett and his friends. What was happening here? When did I become so lacking in security?
"They're fine," Nefera whispered in my ear, sipping on her juice. "It's not like Tatiana doesn't already know most of this."
