Instead of forcing her to stay on the couch with me, I move her and get up. Whether we liked it or not, we had to talk about it to get rid of the Ghost. Jushion was true to his name. The man haunted us, and every time we went to talk about him, one of us chickened out like he'd come through a wall. We had to do something, or he would destroy what we had. That was something I refused to allow. He'd taken enough already.
"Hey, Vishnu," I crouched beside my brother-in-law and pup, rubbing Zaya's belly in the way she loved. "Can you take the pup to my mom? She's in the kitchen."
