Nefretiri
"Nefera," Ivan nudged my shoulder with his hand, but I only groaned and buried my face into his chest. I was too exhausted to pretend I could wake up. "Come on, baby. We need to leave."
"Five more minutes." How was it time to leave already? I'd only closed my eyes a few seconds ago. "The sun's not out yet."
"Come on, baby," I kept fighting, but Ivan lifted me up, swatting the sand off my body. I whined again, acting like I was six and not caring. The rider left me nothing. She fucked all night, recharged her power, and slinked away to wherever she stayed in the day. That was annoying because she didn't leave me a drop of her energy. What a bitch. "We have to go. We're on pack territory."
"Huh?" That woke me up. Pack territory? Who's?
"Get dressed," He helped me find my clothes, shaking them so I didn't get more sand on me. By the time I was sliding my shoes on, he'd shifted, looking around cautiously.
