Ivan,
I hadn't shifted yet, Garmr taking over most of my body to fight. Goddess, I wish he'd been awake when I was still in combat. He remembered everything we'd ever been taught about battle, things I couldn't even try to recall. From the thousands of lessons my uncle had me endure, the countless fights I had with the warriors growing up, everything they drilled during boot camp and basic, down to the last trick we'd learned when we were deployed. It was like he lived for the fight, and I wasn't sure if that wasn't the case.
