"She took the fucking knife!" Vince yelled, throwing the empty box to the ground. "You know where she's heading?"
"You can't assume that," Brandon growled, his eyes changing to gold and silver. He was agitated and steadily worsened since he returned from looking for Nefera. "She's still in the territory. We know she hasn't left."
"Yet," Vince snarled, his eyes changing to black. "Do you honestly think she's going to wait? You know how impulsive she is! She saw those files. She knows where to go."
"We should've told her," Taylor turned to me. She was angry and worried, never a good combination. It wasn't the first time she'd said this tonight. The second she'd come to the packhouse after Nefera left, she hadn't hesitated to point it out. "At least then she wouldn't have gotten angry."
