We returned to the waiting Shurakai, Ricky looking like he was crawling out of his skin. He was so angry he couldn't hide it. But, then again, Ricky had never been good at concealing his emotions, not when it came to me. So, seeing Ivan's arm around my waist as we walked, something I had hated Ricky trying to do, burned him up inside. No matter how often he wanted to claim I was his, he must know it wasn't true.
Even though I was shards and fragments of a person, when you lined up all the memories and emotions linked to each man, Ricky couldn't muster up a handful of good ones.
