The question stung more than I would've liked.
Was I a fool? In the past, I have been, but the more I uncovered, I started to realize I was a manipulated one. Now though? No, I don't see myself as that. Whatever I am, it's more than those two extremes. I am the Alpha of this pack, and the man in front of me didn't come to be friends. He didn't have the well-being of my people or me in mind, and he'd kill me for the sake of killing me if I gave him a chance.
