Ivan
Something was wrong.
There's a sharp pain at the back of my neck as if someone was biting me. It's enough to pull me out of a deep slumber, and now I can't get back to sleep. It's seven, by Nefera's phone, which makes me cringe. I wish I hadn't woken up. Unfortunately, though, I'm not the only one who seems restless. Nefera was trying to readjust, but she couldn't get comfortable.
That unsettling feeling refuses to go away. I know something's wrong, but I don't know what it is. The ache in my neck moves down my spine before assaulting my stomach. It's a sharp, stabbing pain that refuses to leave, and my thoughts go to Pen-Pen. That didn't come from nowhere. Chagan and Fenrir were thinking of our pup.
"Ivan? Your mom isn't answering my mind link!" Nefera sits in the bed, staring at me with a panicked expression. "Can you try?"
