"Are you sure you don't want us to put an IV in?" Trevor frowns, staring down at Nefera on the bed. She was still asleep, but that was to be expected considering how hard she'd fought against the curse, but she was more responsive than before.
"No, she just needs the rest." Trevor wanted to do more, his medical instinct against my orders. He had to trust me on this, though. I had more experience with Black coral and knew Nefera didn't need any IVs or monitors. "How's the rooster?"
We'd brought Trip and Nefera to the hospital a few hours ago. I didn't tell anyone in the pack. I didn't want to scare them, especially when Nefera was alright. Our pack hospital was small when you compared it to Luke's facility. The building only had twenty rooms on two floors and could easily pass as a large house if any humans came looking. That might seem like a lot until you remember the pack consisted of over four hundred.
