"I've got eight different spots." Vince marks another one on the map. "All along here."
"And we're still thinking it's an animal doing this?" Ben scowled at the map, setting another sticker on it to mark what we'd found. "This is too strategic to me, not something marking its territory. Look, it hit eight of our hidden roads. All of them lead directly to the packhouse."
"He's right," Ethan runs his finger over the road lines. Humans might not have the directions for these, and the rare time one finds them, they mistake them for hiking trails, but we made sure to keep our maps up to date. "All the roads that go from one neighborhood to the other are clear, but no one can come to us, and we can't get to them from this side."
