"Luna," I turn to face one of the wolves. She smiles at me but glances over at the couches where Aurora and her friends are still sitting. I'd come down fifteen minutes ago and got myself a large plate of food. "I'm Liz Cobbs, I was looking for you earlier, but you'd gone upstairs."
"Yeah, my hair came undone," the story Taylor and I came up with for why I'd been gone for almost twenty minutes was simple. The clips now in my hair sold it, and no one seemed to wonder if I was being honest.
"It looks good." The she-wolf praises but quickly peers at the group. They were spying on us, leaning in close to gossip. "So, I heard on the grapevine that you're planning to redecorate your office."
"I am," That was something I'd been discussing with someone a minute ago. Taylor wanted to get started quickly, but I didn't want to bother any of the pack who had jobs.
