"This place is strange..." - Yue muttered as she looked at the surroundings. She, as well as Cloud and the other challengers, were in some sort of forest without any hint of life - "Also, I feel like someone is spying on me..."
Yue frowned slowly as she released some of her mana to do a reconnaissance of the area, though to her growing irritation, she failed to detect anything unusual.
"Am I overthinking things?" - Yue muttered as she frowned.
"Yue-san!" - A familiar voice exclaimed.
"Shea?" - Yue said in surprise, though she quickly frowned because she felt this one was too much of a coincidence.
"I'm happy to see you, Yue-san!" - Shea exclaimed tearfully as she hugged the vampire girl's legs - "You don't know the trouble I've been in since I fell in the forest!"
"Impossible, I just appeared in this place" - said Yue with a frown.
"Huh? Just now?" - Shea repeated as she quickly stood up - "Impossible, I've been in this place for over half an hour..."
"¡¿?!" - Yue's expression changed when she heard this because it didn't make sense - "Unless I've been locked up without noticing and then transported to this place, although that would be stupid, although it's possible that's part of the test..."
"What are you thinking, Yue-san?" - Shea asked while frowning.
"It's nothing, it's something too complete for your comprehension" - Yue replied as she gave the rabbit girl a blank look.
"You're cruel, I'm not an idiot!" - Shea exclaimed as she bristled her long rabbit ears.
Yue smiled slightly before casting a spell at the bunny girl.
"!" - Shea quickly backpedaled before yelling at the vampire girl for attacking her.
"Sorry, I just wanted to make sure" - Yue said as she shook her head.
"Seriously, that's cruel even for you, Yue-san" - muttered Shea as she frowned, only to recoil again when she felt a large amount of mana surrounding her - "Why!"
"Are you really Shea?" - Yue asked as she narrowed her eyes.
"Of course I am!" - Shea exclaimed as she scowled at the vampire girl - "I feel like you're not Yue-san though..."
Yue raised an eyebrow before holding out her hand again.
Shea quickly stepped back and stood at a safe distance, only to give a terrified look when she felt a presence jumping out at her.
"Chaaa!" - a second Shea appeared from the forest and charged at the first rabbit girl, who could do nothing in the face of her attacker's enormous speed.
"Seriously, I've already lost patience with these copies trying to trick me" - growled the second Shea before wiping her sweat - "Huh? Is that you, Yue-san?"
Yue looked at the Shea that had attacked her previous companion, which had transformed into some sort of rust-colored amorphous mass - "I see, they're copies created by the labyrinth to confuse us, I guess it makes sense the phrase 'testing the bonds of the challengers'..."
"What are you talking about?" - Shea asked as she stood on guard.
"Relax, I'm the original" - Yue said as she looked at the rabbit girl.
"Really?" - Shea asked as she narrowed her eyes, though she quickly started to release some of her mana to activate her empowerment - "I don't believe you, after all, you're not the first Yue-san to tell me the same thing..."
"You're still just as much of an idiot, Shea... as could be expected from a worthless rabbit" - Yue said neutrally.
"Stop calling me a worthless rabbit, Yue-san!" - Shea exclaimed angrily as her long ears twitched menacingly - "Yue-san!"
"Now do you believe me?" - Yue asked as she raised an eyebrow.
"You're the first Yue-san to treat me so badly, so I guess you're the original" - nodded Shea as she narrowed her eyes - "I won't let my guard down though."
"Those thoughts you need to keep to yourself, Shea" - said Yue as she gave her a blank look - "Don't change"
"I don't plan to" - Shea replied as she shook her head - "I'm happy the way I am."

"Hmm, this place is interesting..." - Tio said as she looked around the surroundings with a confused expression - "Though I feel like I've been to this place before..."
Tio started to check the surroundings until she found something different, a strange path full of flowers.
"Hmm, this could be the right path, or a huge trap" - Tio muttered as she started thinking about the possibilities - "Anyway, I lose nothing by heading down this clearly marked path."
Tio continued walking, until she reached a kind of transparent cocoon, inside of which was Myu.
"Myu-chan!" - Tio exclaimed in terror as she looked around in search of Cloud, but he was nowhere to be found - "Did they get separated during teleportation?"
Tio was confused, after all, she was sure Cloud wouldn't leave Myu in danger.
"I better worry about that later, now I have to get Myu out of that place" - Tio muttered as she was preparing to break the cocoon, when she felt something strange, so she quickly stepped back, though to her surprise, she didn't see anything out of place - "What was that?"
Tio was silent for a few seconds as he again tried to approach the cocoon surrounding the girl, noticing how this strange feeling appeared again.
"This is strange, it's like this cocoon is dangerous, but at the same time that means I have to get Myu out of that place as soon as possible" - Tio muttered while frowning.
"Tio-san!" - A female voice exclaimed.
"Kaori-dono?" - Tio asked as she looked at the silver-haired girl.
"That's Myu-chan?" - Kaori asked in surprise.
"Yeah, I was thinking about how to get her out of that cocoon" - Tio replied as she looked at the silver-haired girl, though at the same time she felt that her traveling companion was dangerous. She wasn't sure why, but her instincts told her that she shouldn't trust Kaori.
"What's wrong, Tio, why are you acting so distant?" - Kaori asked as she frowned, though her expression changed when she noticed how Tio started to attack her - "What are you doing!"
"I'm sorry, but I don't trust you, so I recommend you back off" - Tio said as she narrowed her eyes.
"How can you not trust me after everything we've been through together?" - Kaori asked with a forlorn expression.
"That's the problem" - Tio said as she understood the situation after thinking about it a little more calmly - "I haven't spent those moments with you."
Kaori was silent before looking at Tio with a cold expression - "How did you find me out?"
"I didn't, it was just a hunch" - Tio replied as she grinned wildly before lashing out.
"Kaori" quickly raised her hands to try to defend herself, but to her surprise, she saw Tio appear behind her and explode her head with one blow.
"As I thought, a simple synthetic imitation" - Tio said as she wiped her hands and saw the strange rust-colored liquid - "That means the Myu inside that cocoon, it may also be an imitation, but it's possible that it's also the original..."
Tio was self-conscious about this decision, still decided it was better to wait a bit to make sure.
"I'd better walk away for a bit, because I have a feeling I'll see something interesting if I do" - Tio muttered while disappearing from the place.
10 minutes later, the cocoon opened by itself, revealing a very confused Myu.
"Where am I?" - Myu muttered as she looked around - "Dad? Mom? Shea Onee-chan?"
Myu continued to call her family, but no matter how hard she tried, no one answered, so she started sobbing as she called her parents.
Tio, who was hiding nearby, remained silent as she looked closely at little Myu, after all, it was strange that she managed to free herself.
Myu continued to sob for a few more minutes before she shook her head and started walking in an unfamiliar direction.
"Should I talk to her, or keep watching her?" - Tio wondered as she looked at little Myu, though after thinking about it some more, she decided to refrain from trying to approach the girl, though this made her realize something - "Wait, if I'm thinking things through so much, it's because I instinctively know that she's not little Myu-chan."
Upon discovering this, she continued to keep an eye on the supposed clone of her lover's adopted daughter, mostly because it was possible that she would lead him to the place where the others might be.
"Although it's also possible that she might lead me to another trap" - Tio thought as she shook her head - "Anyway, this is my best option."

"The others don't seem to fall for the labyrinth's deceptions, at least for now..."
"Why do you say that?" - Belta asked as she looked around, after all, she didn't know where to look because Lyutillis didn't have a physical body.
"Because so far, all the clones have been created in the appearance of girls, with the exception of one, the one that tricked the girl who has the body of an apostle..."
