"Aren't we there yet?" - asked Shea while looking around.
"No... now stop messing around" - said Yue while holding the bridge of his nose.
"Hey, I'm trying to make conversation" - replied Shea as she gave her a blank look.
"This is no time for conversation, we still have to meet up with Cloud and the others" - Shea replied with a frown, though her expression changed as she felt the ground begin to shake.
"Kya!" - Shea shouted out of surprise after she lost her balance.
"Shea, watch out!" - Yue exclaimed as she felt the magical pressure start to build up on the spot, showing that something was about to happen.
Shea quickly jumped onto a nearby rock, then jumped onto a branch because she instinctively knew something was going to come out of the ground, though to her terror, the creature seemed to have planned this as well, because the moment the rabbit girl set foot on the branch, strange vines shot out and caught Shea without her being able to react - "Kya!"
"Shea!" - Yue exclaimed as she tried to channel her mana, though to her irritation, multiple vines shot out of the ground and began attacking her.
"Run, Yue-san!" - Shea exclaimed as she was dragged into the deepest part of the forest.
Yue clicked her tongue before launching a powerful fire attack that incinerated everything in its path, then dashing off after the rabbit girl - "Troublesome worthless rabbit..."
"Yue Onee-chan!" - A childish voice exclaimed.
Yue stopped dead in her tracks when she heard this voice and looked with surprise how a girl was walking in her direction - "Myu? What are you doing here, and where is Cloud?"
"I don't know" - Myu answered as she frowned - "When I woke up, daddy was nowhere to be found and I was locked inside a cocoon".
"Inside a cocoon?" - Yue repeated while frowning.
"Yes" - nodded Myu with concern.
"Where are your weapons, Myu-chan?" - Yue asked as she looked at the little girl.
Myu was about to answer, when a huge black paw pressed her to the ground.
Yue's expression changed when she saw this massive limb, though she quickly calmed down when she saw a rust-colored liquid drip down the creature's massive paw.
"That was anticlimactic, Tio," Yue said as she looked at the newcomer.
"In the least, after all, we don't know what kind of actions a creature like this might take if it gets close enough" - replied Tio, who was in her dragon form.
"You have a point" - nodded Yue as she narrowed her eyes - "And how do I know that you are the real Tio?"
"That I could ask you too" - Tio replied neutrally - "Although it's pretty obvious that it's because I can transform."
Yue was silent before nodding - "Right, besides, I can smell the scent of your blood."
"Right, you're a descendant of the [Dragon Eater]" - Tio said as she shook her head - "I guess we have to meet up with the others now."
"I was about to go after Shea" - Yue replied as she explained what had happened before she arrived.
Tio was silent before letting out a sigh - "As you might expect from Shea-san..."
"I know, she has terrible luck in situations like this" - Yue said as she gave the dragon woman a blank look - "Anyway, I think we'd better go find her."
"Let's go" - nodded Tio as the two girls walked in the direction Shea had been dragged.

"Kya!" - Shea let out a high pitched scream as tears ran down her cheeks - "Why do things like this always happen to me!"
"Shea?" - Cloud said as he appeared on the branch of a nearby tree.
"Cloud-san!" - Shea exclaimed with tears in her eyes.
Cloud didn't hesitate, he quickly jumped on the vines and destroyed them with utmost ease, freeing the bunny girl, who quickly hugged his legs - ". . ."
"Cloud-san!" - Shea exclaimed as she sobbed, though her expression quickly changed when she felt something strange. She quickly frowned before backing away at high speed.
"Shea?" - Cloud said as he looked at the rabbit girl in surprise - "What's wrong with you?"
"Who are you and why are you wearing Cloud-san's appearance?" said Shea as she frowned. If it had been in a different situation, one where she hadn't received the necessary affection from the blond, she might have failed to acknowledge it, but this wasn't the case.
The rabbit girl quickly pulled out her huge mallet before narrowing her eyes - "No matter how similar your appearance or voice is, there's one thing you can't imitate, and that's the strange feeling of calm I always get when I'm by Cloud-san's side."
"I see..." - The clone muttered before dissolving into the rusty liquid.
"Shea!" - Yue exclaimed as she watched the bunny girl stand in front of a liquid similar to the one the fake Myu was composed of.
"Oh, hi Yue-san, Tio-san" - smiled Shea as she nodded in the direction of her traveling companions.
"Another clone?" - Yue asked as she raised an eyebrow.
"Yes, Cloud's" - replied Shea as she shook her head.
"Did the maze manage to capture him?" - Tio said while frowning.
"I don't think so, maybe during teleportation, we ended up in those cocoons that surrounded Myu's clone" - replied Yue while theorizing why the clones appeared.
"Hmm, I hadn't thought of it that way" - muttered Tio as she nodded.
"My head hurts a little after listening to them talk..." - Shea said as Yue and Tio gave her a blank look.

"Oh, it didn't end the way I thought it would..."
"What did you expect?" - Belta asked, confused because unlike Lyutillis, she couldn't see what was going on, in other words, the only way she knew about the challengers' situation, was because Lyutillis informed her about it.
"I expected the rabbit girl to be the next to fall, but I guess her bond with that strange boy is much greater than I thought, not to mention I didn't expect them to be so cold to the girl's clone."
Belta was silent before shaking her head.

"I'm starting to hate this place" - Cloud said as he pulled out his spear and imbued it with fire to take out the monsters that had appeared out of nowhere.
"I'll help you, daddy!" - Myu exclaimed as she pulled out her little gun and started to take out as many monsters as she could.
Cloud smiled slightly because he was proud that his teachings were paying off.
"Dad, I think I hate bugs..." - Myu said with annoyance as she watched one of the monsters explode in front of her and surrounded her with a green goo, a relief that a barrier blocked the strange liquid.
"I share the sentiment" - Cloud replied as he shook his head,
The two had been killing giant insects for at least 30 minutes.
"Are you okay, Myu-chan?" - Cloud asked as he walked over to the little girl.
"Yeah, just a little tired" - answered Myu as she wiped the sweat from her forehead.
Cloud took out a bottle from his inventory and handed it to his adopted daughter to drink - "This will help you."
"Thank you, daddy" - smiled Myu as she took the bottle and drank it without a second thought, only to feel her strength returning - "Delicious ~!"
"It's good that you liked it" - smiled Cloud as he took the little girl and sat her on his shoulder - "Let's continue."
"Ok" - nodded Myu as she watched in annoyance as a nice wave of infant sized bees, flew in her direction - "I hate bees..."
"You shouldn't, they're cute, it's just that these are annoying monsters" - Cloud said as he shook his head before snapping his fingers and creating an igneous wave that incinerated everything within a 30 meter radius of them.
"I wonder if they taste like chicken like you said, dad" - said Myu as she cocked her head to the side.
"Now I regret telling you that most exotics, taste like chicken" - sighed Cloud while shaking his head - "Anyway, I don't think it's a good idea to eat the bees, I mean, they don't seem to have much meat on them"
"Hmm, you're right, besides, now that I take a good look at them, they don't look very appetizing" - said Myu while shaking her head.
"Let's get out of this place and we can eat something delicious" - said Cloud as he watched Myu let out a shout of joy.

"I think it's time for us to move on to plan B, although it's a pity it didn't make it... wait, this is perfect..."
"What are you planning to do, Lyutillis?" - Belta asked as she frowned because she could hear the teasing tone in the elf's voice.
"It's simple, you'll see shortly ~"
Belta was silent, though her expression changed as she watched three silhouettes appear in the green cocoons surrounding the room.
"What the fuck?" said Belta in surprise, only to blush as she noticed she had said something inappropriate.
"They fell into a somniferous trap, it wasn't what I expected, but I'm satisfied."
