"Are you ready?" - Cloud asked as he looked at his companions, especially little Myu, who had at least 5 pendants around her neck.
"Yes!" - exclaimed the girls as they watched Cloud put the proofs of having completed the other mazes, on their respective pedestals.
Slowly, a strange message appeared over the wall.
"Testing the strong bonds the challengers have developed..." - Cloud muttered as he frowned slightly - "I have a bad feeling about this."
"Well, at least it also tells us what the next ancient magic is" - added Yue as she saw how underneath the message a second message appeared - "[Evolution Magic]"
When they put the last proof of having completed the labyrinth, the leaves of the big tree started to sway.
"Interesting, I can feel the mana concentrated on the tests, being drained by the pedestal" - Tio mused as she started to think, though there wasn't much time because after a few seconds the ground began to shake.
"Kya!" - Myu exclaimed, confused by the sudden earthquake.
"Magic concentration on the trunk!" said Yue as she prepared for a possible ambush, though she relaxed when she saw that it was just the tree opening its trunk to reveal a cave of sorts.
"I guess this is our cue to enter, I want everyone to stick together, after all, we don't know what kind of actions the maze will take to test our bonds" - Cloud said seriously.
"Ok" - nodded the girls as the group cautiously entered.
"Shall we follow them, my lord?" - Asked an elf as he looked at the leader of his tribe.
"No, after all, this maze is dangerous even for us" - replied Ulfric as he shook his head. He wouldn't deny it, he was tempted to enter the maze to talk to Lyutillis, so he could force Cloud to tell them everything about Yggdrasil, though these thoughts quickly disappeared, after all, he knew that if something went wrong inside the maze, his granddaughter wouldn't have any other familiar to support her - "Come on, we still have to organize many things."
"Ok!" - The elf exclaimed as he walked to where his people were gathered.

"Cloud, the way out!" - Remia exclaimed as she hugged her daughter, noticing how the cave entrance was slowly closing, leaving less and less light.
Cloud snapped his fingers and materialized a small fireball to illuminate the surroundings, while concentrating his attention on Myu, who was a bit frightened by the so sudden change in her surroundings - "It'll be all right, Myu-chan..."
"Dad..." - Myu murmured as she hugged Cloud with all her might.
Cloud was about to say something, when he felt the change in place along with a huge magical activity - "Attention!"
The girls let out a shout of surprise as strange glyphs appeared under their feet.
"It's a magical teleportation formation!" - Yue exclaimed as she recognized the magic formula - "It's going to split us into groups!"
The dark room began to glow from the magic pentagram as the girls disappeared one after the other.
"Cloud, please take care of my baby!" - Remia exclaimed before disappearing like the others.
The blond didn't reach to answer before he along with little Myu disappeared as well.

"I wonder if they will be able to see beyond the physical..."

"Where's mom, dad?" - Myu asked as she took her father's hand.
"I don't know, but we'll find her soon" - Cloud answered with a small smile - "Will you be able to hold on until that happens?"
"Yes, I am a strong girl" - answered Myu with a happy smile.
"That's my daughter" - Cloud said as the two let out a happy laugh before feeling how something seemed to approach their location.
"Dad?" - Myu asked as she noticed how her father frowned slightly.
"Show yourself, I know you're there" - Cloud said neutrally.
"Wait, it's me, it's me!" - exclaimed a voice that Myu recognized immediately.
"Shea Onee-chan?" - Myu asked as she watched the rabbit girl walk in her direction.
"Oh, thank goodness I was able to find you..." - Shea said as she let out a sigh of relief - "You don't know how long I've been jumping and hopping so I could find any of you."
Myu tried to walk to Shea, but was stopped by her father - "Dad?"
"What are you, and why are you wearing Shea's appearance" - Cloud said neutrally.
"What are you talking about, Cloud? It's me, Shea!" - Shea exclaimed as she frowned and walked to where her beloved was, only for the blond to draw his gun and give her a quick shot in the forehead.
"Daddy!" - Myu exclaimed in terror as she watched Shea's corpse fly away from the impact of the bullet in her forehead - "Why!"
"Easy, Myu-chan, she wasn't Shea" - Cloud replied as he tried to calm the girl down.
"Huh?" - Myu saw "Shea", and noticed how from the wound on her forehead there was no red liquid coming out, but rather a strange rust liquid - "Eeeeeh!"
"Remember, Myu-chan, I would never hurt you or the others" - said Cloud with a small smile to calm the girl down, after all, it must have been shocking to see her father shoot a girl who was identical to one of her older sisters.
"Ok" - nodded Myu as she squeezed her father's hand - "So mom?"
"Sorry, I'm not sure about the overall situation" - Cloud replied as he tried to comfort the girl - "But don't worry, we'll find her if it's the last thing I do."
Myu nodded weakly as the two walked back through the forest.

"Interesting, that guy named Cloud managed to identify the fake bunny girl in a matter of seconds, I guess he'll be arriving in this room soon."
Belta let out a long sigh of relief.
"Although I can't say the same for this girl who has the body of an apostle."
"Huh?" - Belta let out a cry of surprise as she saw a new girl appear in the nearby cocoon - "How?"
"It's simple, this girl let her fantasies cloud her vision."
"Fantasies?" - Belta repeated as she looked at the unconscious Kaori.
"Yes, she had sensed that there was something off about the fake Cloud I sent her, but after hearing a few words of love, she let her feelings cloud her judgment, a pity really."
Belta let out another sigh because it wasn't as if she could blame the girl, after all, everyone wanted to have a happy ending.
