"I may be a simple conscience of a person who wishes to see a better world, but that doesn't mean I can't do something about it against Ehit's lackeys" -said a male voice as a silhouette appeared in front of a hooded person-.
"So. Why didn't you do anything to try to stop my advances?" - A female voice asked. The hooded person slightly showed her face, milk-white skin and small, pink lips and a delicate nose.
"Because I don't sense any kind of divine aura inside you, in fact, I can feel a chaotic power inside you" - replied the male voice as his silhouette began to show his true form, a middle-aged man with tanned skin and bald head. He was wearing a combat priest suit that matched his form, showing the muscles gained from years of training - "Though I'm curious to know who you are, after all, I can't shake this strange feeling of familiarity..."
The woman didn't respond, she just stared silently at what was left of Laus Barn's consciousness. Time was cruel to this man, though if she was honest with herself, she was aware that of all the [Liberators], he was the one who would suffer the most from Ehit's corrosion.
Barn was silent for a few seconds before making the decision not to probe the subject any further.
The hooded woman continued her silence before noticing how Barn frowned - "Is something wrong?"
"Yes, Ehit's servant is approaching, so I don't think I have the time to talk to you anymore" - Barn's silhouette replied as he looked at the girl - "That's why I'm going to ask you the last question..... Is it true that you don't want my power?"
"No, I don't need it, nor do I think I can use it" - replied the hooded woman as she shook her head - "Let's just say that my current situation is not the best to control the magic of this world."
Barn raised an eyebrow as he watched the girl walk towards the teleportation point that connected the end of the labyrinth to the outside world.
"It was nice to see you again, Mr. Baldy" - the woman murmured as she disappeared into the seal.
"Wait! You are?" - Barn muttered as his pupils constricted because there was only a small people who called him that, and those were, Miledi, Meiru and his younger sister - "Impossible, you were sent to a dimensional rift, though it would explain why your energy feels so strange..."
Barn let out a sigh as he looked in the direction of the seal with a stricken expression, after all, he couldn't be sure which assumptions were true - "It is ironic that the master of spirit magic, is the only one who has been corrupted by Ehit and the passage of time, though I suppose it is because of my enormous affinity with the soul that I was the most affected..."
A sarcastic smile appeared on the face of the liberator's shadow before he frowned - "Whatever, I'm not going to allow a servant of my enemy to enter this place..."

"I'm an idiot, I shouldn't have said that..." - The hooded woman muttered, only to have the wind from the mountain she had appeared on remove the cloth covering her face, revealing beautiful light blue hair. She had beautiful sapphire blue eyes and features out of this world, though her beautiful eyes were showing different kinds of emotions - "After all, Laus Barn is not an idiot, and with the clue I gave him, it's obvious he must have figured out my identity."
The Dagon woman let out a sigh as she looked up at the sky with a confused expression.
"Why did I do that?" - Diene Devault, Meiru Melusine's younger half-sister as well as a Human-Dagon hybrid, muttered. She had been born after her mother was kidnapped by a human noble and forced into a marriage she never chose, though despite this, her mother never hated her, in fact, she protected her to the end with a smile on her face even though her origin was something she would like to forget.
From a very young age, she knew there was something strange between her parents, although it wasn't until she was old enough to understand things, that she discovered her horrible origin thanks to the words of some maids who didn't know she was around the place. Diene quickly ran to her mother that day and cried in her lap as she apologized for being born, she expected her mother to curse her, insult her, yell at her, but to her surprise, she was only greeted with love, protection and kindness.
Diene quickly shook her head because she honestly didn't want to remember those moments, even though they had been the happiest years of her life, after all, her mother at that time was still alive.
"I better stop thinking about the past, I still have to go to three more places" - Diene muttered as she fell to her knees with a pained expression. She could feel how a strange blue electricity started to surround her body for a few seconds.
When that effect wore off, Diene lifted her face, revealing one that now seemed to be full of wrinkles.
"The effects of the temporal distortion are becoming more and more frequent" - Diene muttered while looking at her wrinkled hands, though after a few minutes she returned to her youthful appearance - "If this keeps happening, it's possible that one of these days I'll end up having bad luck and the terminal distortion effect will consume my time more than my body can resist."
A sad smile appeared on the light blue-haired girl's face, though it quickly returned to normal, after all, she still had work to do in order to help her older sister. She couldn't forget the moment she saw her sister's look of despair when she was sent into the dimensional rift by Ehit, just thinking about it made her breathing become ragged, though at the same time it was that look that had made her become the only survivor of all the hostages Ehit had captured.
"Maybe this is a good time for me to be able to find some way to remedy my situation" - Diene muttered while frowning - "Although for that I need to save my sister, she is the only one who has a high control of temporal magic, enough to be able to stabilize my body."
Diene quickly shook her head before continuing on her way, after all, she had changed her initial goal because she had sensed a disturbance in Barn's labyrinth - "I guess now it's time to go to the sea of trees..."

Cloud frowned as he felt a temporal distortion in the distance, though he quickly shook his head and concentrated on the problem at hand.
"Start the magic bombardment!" - Cloud exclaimed as he saw how the demons were slowly approaching the entrance of the kingdom's capital. His strategy had been a success, with the power of his elemental mines, he had managed to annihilate at least 50% of the demonic forces, though this was not enough.
"Ok!" - Shouted the mages who had come to provide support.
Cloud watched as countless elemental attacks flew out in the direction of the demons, who were still confused and shocked by what had happened.
The screams of the victims of the magical bombardment were not long in coming, and the leaders of the demonic army quickly ordered a strategic retreat.
Cloud frowned because now that the demons knew there were traps, they would not move so easily, in fact, they would now try to use magic in order to destroy their traps, which would make the battle much slower and tedious.
"Maybe I should have waited until everyone was in range, even with the risk of the demons trying to run towards the capital" - Cloud muttered before shaking his head - "No, it's better not to risk the safety of the inhabitants of this city, after all, you never know when the battle might take a 180° turn, or that someone might attack you from behind and end up helping your enemies.
Cloud wasn't fully trusting his allies, after all, it was as he had said, he didn't know if there were any spies among the many "allies" had gathered, maybe even someone from this group would try something against him just because he was "hogging" the lion's share of the accomplishments.
"Cloud, what do we do now?" - Rika asked as she walked to their leader.
"It's simple, we prepare for when those bastards resume the attack" - answered Cloud while closing his eyes - "Tell them to rest until further notice, if possible I want them to go buy supplies, especially MP potions to recover mana after each magic attack"
"Ok" - nodded Rika as she walked to the allies and prepared to give the blond's orders
