Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: Out of body experience

"The Synchronization seems to be going well," Raven says as she looks at all four bodies struggling in their beds.

10 mins later, the bodies of Adonis and Natasha go completely still, lifeless.

"The transfer is complete. The question is will they wake up in their new bodies?" The Shadowman says, watching closely.

The first one to wake up is "Natasha."

Natasha takes in a large breath of air as she wakes up

"What the-, wait, is that my voice? What did you all do to m-" Natasha says as she looks down at her hands and then over to her original body lying next to her. Cold and losing color, lifeless and completely still.

Natasha screams so loud that even the heavens could hear her cries.

"You killed me, this. . . this can not be forgiven," Natasha says as her face turns from sadness to rage. Her eyes begin to flicker, golden light from her eyes.

Natasha was getting ready to advance on her kidnappers; she noticed the body that Adonis was supposed to inhabit starting to wake up.

Natasha rushes over to the new man that was supposed to be Adonis.

"Babe, are you alright take it slow," Natasha says, helping him up

Adonis takes in a large amount of air as he wakes up.

"Babe? "ma'am, I'm happily married. Huh, that doesn't sound like my voice." Adonis says, coming to his senses.

"Who are you? Could you not touch me so intimately. I'm now a married man." Adonis says, trying to slide the strange woman's hands off of him.

"Natasha" Grabs "Adonis" face and says. "Baby, look at me and look at yourself. We are no longer the people we once knew." Natasha says as tears roll down her eyes.

Adonis looks down at himself and then over to his old body, slowly losing its color and completely still and lifeless.

"So they weren't lying; they really are Voodiest. They have put our souls in a completely different body." Adonis says as his voices cracks in sorrow.

Adonis tries to calm his mind and assess the situation. He's always done this, which got him out of many dangerous situations. This time he did it a lot faster and calmer.

"Ok, the first thing we need to do is establish that we know who we are to each other. Tell me something that only Natasha would know. Adonis says, looking at the woman in front of him.

"Natasha" wipes her eyes and nods her head in agreement.

"She carries herself like Natasha. Natasha even cries the way this woman does. But as the saying goes, you can never be too careful. Adonis thought.

"Well, for one, you talk way too much sometimes, and you're way too overly cautious about everything. You talk to yourself out loud and even look into a hidden camera like you in a movie or something," Natasha says.

Adonis makes a disbelieving face.

"Ok, yea, you Natasha. You did not have to go in on me like that, though." Adonis said, giving Natasha a side glance.

"Haa, well, now you know it's me for sure, though. Ok, do me next." Natasha says, trying to make light of their situation.

Adonis thinks for a moment.

"You Fart in your sleep and sometimes talk very loudly, which even scares me out of my sleep," he says.

Natasha's face turns flush, and she starts hitting Adonis.

"Why would you say that in front of others? You're so rude," Natasha says.

"I'm glad to see you both have adjusted well to your new bodies. Many souls were sacrificed to create them." Raven says.

Both Adonis and Natasha stop their lover's corals between each other and set their sights on Raven and The Shadowman.

"You have the wrong Idea, do not believe we have accepted this situation in the slightest. You will pay for the sins you have committed against us." Adonis says, has both his and Natasha's eyes start to glow gold.

"Raven," The Shadowman says. Before Adonis and Natasha rushed them, they were gone in a blue fog. "We'll stay in touch," he says as the Fog escapes through a factory window.

"You feel it too, don't you? The power within our bodies it feels like," Natasha says as she turns to Adonis in their new bodies.

"It feels like you could crush a mountain in a single blow. Yea, I feel it too. But." Adonis says as Natasha finishes his thought.

"This power is going to come at a price that will have no choice but to pay. The question is. What is the price to sustain a power such as ours?" Natasha says as she looks at Adonis.

They stare into each other's eyes with conflicting emotions. With a million thoughts running through both of their minds. Will we still love each other the same? Am I still attracted to them? Do I want them attracted to a body that is not my own?

These questions ran through their minds as they stared into each other's eyes, which leads them to the ultimate question. "Are we truly in love with the inner person or the outer one?
