Her wolf must be kidding her. How can she be mated to the same man who wanted her dead, the same man who almost killed her.
Does this mean he knew she was his mate and he treated her that way?
How cruel can he be. How could someone be that cruel? Kyra sobbed, she growled in anger.
What her so called mate did to her was worse than any rejection she knew. It was worse than any rejection. She would have preferred to be rejected by him or better yet, she would have rejected him before anything else. He didn't deserve to be anyone's mate.
