Chapter 79 - Chapter 79

Back in the castle, Jaysa sat in the library with Madison. They both sat

comfortably in the chairs on the first level of the library. Jaysa already started on making

some outfits with the new fabrics she had bought in the village. Madison would read her

book and sometimes take glances over at Jaysa. She wanted to know what the young

Queen was making. Jaysa knew that the young teen was steeling glances at her and

only smiled.

"My dear," Jaysa finally spoke up. Madison looked at Jaysa. "Are you interested

on how to sew?" The young Queen asked.

"Yes, it looks interesting." She spoke.

"Then come here." Jaysa waved Madison over to her. Madison got up onto her

feet and made her way towards Jaysa. "Now look closely." She spoke. Madison never

took her eyes off of Jaysa's hands. "You take a needle and out the string or whatever

type of thread you want to use, through this small hole right here." She pointed at the

tiny hole in the needle. Madison watched as Jaysa put the string in and tied it.

"Why are you doing that?" Madison question.

"You do this so your string doesn't fall out of the hole."

"Ooo," was all Madison could say. She watched as if she was possessed by the

young Queens hands. Madison was getting eager to try herself.

"Would you think I could try?" Madison asked.

"Sure. We will start with something first." She spoke. Jaysa pulled out some extra

material and began to show her the ropes.

"So your Majesty. Do you believe what you have done was correct?" Joseph

asked. Danzel sat on his throne looking down at Joseph.

"Yes, I believe it was what the Kingdom needed." He spoke.

"Do you just let that wife of yours do whatever she wants?" Marin's voice was

heard in the room. Danzel gritted his teeth. He was getting tired of this man coming in

here and running his mouth.

"Only thing she was has done was go out to see the towns people." He spoke.

"Did you know she bought peasant fabric?" Martin questioned his King.

"What does it matter?" Danzel spoke. "It's not like you will be wearing anything

she makes." Martin gritted his teeth. Danzel did not know why his uncle was bringing

that type of conversation up to his attention. His wife was doing nothing wrong. So there

was no way that she could be punished. "Why even bring this up?" Danzel asked.

Martin stayed quiet for a moment before speaking.

"You are allowing her to do what she wants." He spoke.

"She wanted to see the town people, what's the big deal?"

"How did she even get the money to make those purchases anyway?" Danzel

stayed quiet. "You didn't." Martin tilted his head back. "You did didn't you. You gave that

woman money."

"And. What of it?" Danzel didn't care for anything that his uncle was saying. He

allowing Jaysa to go out because she complained about being locked inside the castle.

He knew what it felt like to be a bird in a cage and he was not going to make his wife

suffer the same.

"She is taking advantage of you." Martin began. "First it might be her going to the

village, but what next?"

"I think you have gone insane." Danzel spoke.

"Your Highness. I am quite sane. I just believe that she's not right." He spoke.

"That's enough. I wish to hear no more."

"But your Highness-,"

"Enough!" Danzel yelled out. "I'm done." He spoke in a calmer voice.

"Fine." Martin bowed and left. It was quiet in the room before Joseph spoke up.

"For some reason, he has a real beef with your wife." Danzel rubbed his temple.

"Apparently everyone does." He whispered.

Madison was trying to put the needle through the fabric when it suddenly jabbed

her finger.

"Ouch." She yelped out. She put the finger in her mouth sucking at the blood that

tried to ooze out.

"Dear." Jaysa spoke. "You need to be more careful." Madison removed her finger

from her mouth and smiled.

"Was it always this easy for you?" Jaysa shook her head.

"No, I was also having problems with sewing at first. I would always prick my

finger. However, after a while, you get the hang of it." Jaysa spoke with confidence.

"I hope that I can get better at this like you." Madison spoke. Jaysa just smiled.

Later in the day, Jaysa had left the library to take a bit of walk. She wanted to

take a break from the sewing and left Madison in the library to continue practicing. She

was walking the halls when she could hear her husband talking to someone from inside

a room. She was unsure who it could be so she knocked on the door hoping to allow

her in.

"It's opened." She heard his voice. Jaysa opened the door and saw her husband

and Joseph looking at a map on a large wooden table. She had never been in this

room. There were weapons tacked to the walls and many maps as well. The maps were

of different Kingdoms.

"Wow!" Was all Jaysa could say.

"What do you want?" Danzel asked. She looked at him whose head was still

facing down at the maps.

"I was walking down the halls and heard some voices."

"And you decided to check it out." He asked.

"Well, yeah." She spoke. "I mean; I'm still finding new rooms to explore." Danzel

looked up at Jaysa whose eyes were sparkling in awe. Danzel sighed.

"What are you boys doing?" She questioned as she walked closer to Danzel.

"Boy's?" Danzel questioned. "We are not boys. We are men."

"Same thing." She spoke as she brushed up against Danzel.

"No, it's different." He yelped out when she brushed past him. She lightly touched

her husband's chest in the process. Joseph looked at the couple not knowing what to

do. So he decided to speak out.

"We are thinking about expanding some places in the village."

"Oh, that sounds like a good idea." Jaysa responded.

"Yes, I believe so too." Danzel spoke out.

"Are you planning on getting more people in the Kingdom?" Jaysa asked.
