This chapter is written from Qi Yan's perspective:
"Do you know what? I was also kidnapped around 8 years old. However, I was missing for two years before I was found. At that time, I was kidnapped the kidnappers would bring me everywhere to beg. At that time my parents didn't have that much money to look after me, although they still did. Which was one of the reasons they went bankrupt. The boy who I tried to save was kidnapped for a few weeks before he went home. How lucky was he?" she whispered whilst handing me a drink. It was a weird shade, so I quickly looked at what the drink was. "Caramel frap," she muttered.
"Where were you rescued?" I asked tentatively, although I guess she was the one who saved me because of that moon-shaped birthmark I saw by accident when she was a child. Maybe this was one of the reasons grandfathers helped Uncle Fu when he was in need and also promised his daughter to me. This is only my guess that was yet to confirm. "Zhejiang," she replied whilst my burger nearly dropped. My whole body froze. I smiled at her, but I was screaming inside. "Hui Qing, are you sure it's in Zhejiang?". She nodded and again my body froze. Zhejiang was where I was rescued. There is no way this was all a coincidence. It's a man-made coincidence. No wonder grandfather helped Uncle Fu. Because it was quite unlike him. So, the person who I've always wanted to repay was always her. Omg. My destiny is fated to be hers. I need to ask my grandfather.
"What's wrong?" she asked in concern after seeing me faze up. Nothing I replied with a smile although I was anything but calm. Seeing that I was ok Hui Qing looked at me and asked, "where were you rescued?". I muttered a random place without thinking. After all, it wasn't true. "Do you wish to find that girl back?" she asked. I nodded turning towards Hui Qing I said, "I want to personally thank her for everything she did for me back then. I want to thank her for her braveness and courage if it wasn't for her courage then I wouldn't have lived,".
Hui Qing weirdly looked at me and asked randomly who my first love was. I began laughing at her random question. She began to glare at me, and I gradually calmed down. "Yes, I do have a first love, the girl who saved me. I loved her for her courage and bravery," I replied seriously. I looked at Hui Qing's face; she looked a bit downcast and angry. She even turned away. Why was she angry? The wait could it be? "Are you jealous?" I asked teasingly. She turned to face me and shouted, "No way!". I looked at her and laughed. "Well didn't you have a childhood sweetheart?" I teased. She looked at me and muttered "But he isn't here anymore..."
