Vania shook her head. She did not want to be labeled as a usurper lover of people.
"I want you to settle down with Rosa first. If you have finished dealing with Rosa, then we will finish the business between us, "explained Vania firmly.
Vania's heart is really heavy to say all this. She still loves Dio. She knew she couldn't fake the sad vibes that welled up in her heart.
However, Vania has self-respect. She did not want to bring herself into the misery of romance.
She wanted to have a normal love life. She did not want to be a mistress anymore because she's not a sugar baby like she used to be.
Vania got up from her seat. She pulled Dio's hand to get up quickly.
"Let's go home. I am already sleepy. I want to rest," said Vania coldly. She did not want to give hope to Dio.
Moreover, Dio still can't give Vania a clear position. Dio is reluctant to leave Vania's house.
He still wanted to be alone with his lover. However, he knew that Vania was still furious with him. Reluctantly, Dio slowly walked out of Vania's house. He tried to turn towards the door to see Vania's beautiful face.
Unfortunately, Vania immediately slammed the door in front of him. The sound of the door closing was loud. Dio was shocked and froze by it.
Vania locked the door as fast as lightning. She had no intention of slamming the door earlier. She only hastily closed because she was afraid that Dio would force his way back into the house.
Vania had time to open the curtains. She saw that Dio had staggered back to the car parked across the street.
Vania sighed restlessly. She felt sorry for Dio. However, she couldn't do anything because her relationship with Dio was so messed up right now.
Vania decided to return to the room. She laid down with her body covered in a blanket.
Vania's gaze stared at the ceiling of the room. Her mind was troubled imagining when she went to the office next Monday.
"Gosh, I want to give up right now! Really!" said Vania sadly. She remembered that Rosa was her boss.
Vania rolled left and right. Her mind was messed up. She grabbed her cell phone. Her hand opened the office group chat.
Vania's eyes widened. There was a video spread of her and Rosa at the cafe.
It seems that many people have commented on thousands of chats. At first glance Vania read. Many of her co-workers insulted her.
Vania's heart shrunk. She chose to close and turned off her cell phone. Silently, she again cried until she was tired and fell asleep.
On Sunday, Vania did the same thing. She spent all day in bed and ate modestly when she was hungry.
Even then, she could only eat a little. Vania hasn't dared to look at the group chat on her cellphone yet. Everything is too evil and scary.
In fact, she had no intention of teasing Dio. So far, Dio has been chasing Vania. Dio lied to Vania about all his identities.
A mistake because Vania didn't check the truth of Dio's explanation. However, Vania thought it was useless if she had to check.
At that time, Vania only thought about dating and having fun with Dio. She didn't think about marrying Dio at all until Dio proposed to Vania.
Unfortunately, everything was ruined when Vania found out the fact that Dio is Rosa's fiancé. Yes, that's what actually happened. However, only Vania and Dio knew about it.
Vania looked at the calendar. She saw her writing for the spirit of work. She circled the interview schedules and gave a smile. A sign that she must be passionate about work because the mortgage must be paid every month.
Vania realized the original purpose of her work. She worked hard to the point of not getting enough rest just to live a happy life. She didn't want to quit her job. She still wanted to survive because she had to pay installments for the next seven years.
"Yes, I can't give up," Vania determined to encourage herself. "Tomorrow Monday I have to keep working. I have to defend and fight for myself." Vania remembered that the world is indeed cruel. Therefore, humans must work hard so as not to fall into the cruelty of the world.
"I shouldn't have cried so much," Vania wiped her tears. "I have to get to work and explain all the problems to everyone."
Vania grabbed her cell phone. She turned on her cell phone and checked the office group chat. She typed an explanatory message about her and Dio's relationship. She also sent Rosa an apology with a video message.
After that, Vania smiled. She stepped into the bathroom and cleaned herself up.
She intended to continue the rest of the work that was delayed due to yesterday's heartache in order to survive. Vania's spirit is still burning.
She went to the office as usual. However, the gossip has indeed circulated beyond Vania's predictions. Even though Vania had clarified, there were still people in the office who looked at Vania with hate.
"Ugh, you cheap woman," sneered Nita, a fellow reporter from Vania in the same division. They are both Rosa's subordinates in the office.
"She has no shame," added Desi. "Yes, that's fair. People whose behavior is bad still will not be able to repent easily."
"We have to keep our distance. Don't let our boyfriends or fiancés be taken by Vania. It's scary," said Nita, provoking the others.
Vania sighed tiredly. She realized that not everyone would side with her. However, she didn't want to get carried away.
Vania turned on her computer and started to submit all her work reports. Vania's gaze shifted towards the door of the room when she saw Rosa enter inside.
Nita and Desi seemed to greet and encourage Rosa. Rosa just smiled and nodded.
At a glance, Vania and Rosa's eyes met. However, Rosa immediately looked annoyed at Vania and looked away. Rosa stepped into her room on the east side.
A separate room that is in this division room. Vania looked at the paper bag on her desk. She had stopped by the aromatic candle holder. She bought an aromatic candle with Rosa's favorite rose smell. She bought the one that most expensive and wrote an apology letter on a light blue card.
Vania took the paper bag. She got up from her seat and walked towards Rosa's room.
"Excuse me, can I speak for a moment?" asked Vania politely.
She saw Rosa who was turning on the computer and playing with the cellphone. Rosa seemed to be cold. She was silent and did not want to pay attention to Vania in the slightest.
Vania also ventured into the room. She closed the door and sat across from Rosa.
"Rosa, it's me, Vania," said Vania. She was a bit clumsy because Rosa seemed so cold in her demeanor.
"What is it?" replied Rosa. She still didn't want to look at Vania's face. Her gaze remained on the phone and shifted to the computer screen as the computer turned on perfectly.
Vania handed her a paper bag filled with aromatic candles. "This is for you, Rosa," said Vania. "I'm sorry for being bad to you. I really didn't know that Dio was your fiancé. But, you take it easy. I've already decided on Dio."
Rosa finally glanced at Vania. Vania's heart was happy to see Rosa finally wanted to look at her.
Rosa's hand reached for the paper bag. She checked the contents. She got up from his seat. Her steps moved to the trash can in the corner of the room.
Rosa threw the paper bag without looking at its contents into the trash can. Vania's heart was broken when she saw it. She had already spent a lot of money on those aromatic candles. However, Rosa threw it all away lightly.
Rosa smiled widely at Vania. She sat back down again.
"Rosa, why was it thrown away? Isn't it waste?" replied Vania protested.
"I don't like it," said Rosa.
"Don't you like rose-scented aromatic candles?" Vania said confidently.
"I do not like you. I don't like anything you give you. I want you to quickly get out of my sight," Rosa glared at Vania.
"Rosa, why are you like this? I've explained everything to you," Vania lamented sadly. "I even broke up with Dio. What else do I have to do to get you to forgive me?"
"Stop working. I don't like you and I'm sick of seeing you in front of me every day. My chest tightens every time I see you in front of me. I can die quickly if I see you too much," said Rosa curtly.
"I can't stop working," said Vania. "I love working here. This is my best place. Please don't act like this Rosa?"
Rosa flashed a mocking smile. "A person like you still dare to beg me? You are great! Truly shameless!"
"Rosa, I have to work because my contract isn't finished yet. You know that I have a contract here as a permanent employee," explained Vania logically. "I've never done anything wrong. My work performance is good." "Oh, now you want to be arrogant with me because you are good at work?" cut Rosa as fast as lightning.
"It's not like that, Rose. I just want you to know that I am still worthy of working here as your subordinate," explained Vania. "I can do all kinds of work."
"Oh really?" said Rosa. "No wonder you can sleep with your boss's fiancé as well as your best friend, huh?"
Vania's heart was sliced when she heard Rosa's sarcasm. She bit his lip bitterly.
"Okay if you insist. I'm not going to tell you to stop working," said Rosa. "But, you have to do interviews in the area of the eruption of Mount Merapi."
"What did you say?" Vania was surprised to hear that.
"You have to interview people in the area of the eruption of Mount Merapi," said Rosa, repeating her statement.
"Now the status of Merapi is back to standby. There was some shaking and popping. This news not to be missed. Everyone will definitely wait for this news."
"But, disaster interview is for male reporters right? Everything has been written in the company's operational standards," said Vania reminding Rosa.
"You have crossed the norm of social fairness by being my fiancé's mistress. Does someone like you deserve the rules according to the company's operational standards?" said Rosa with a sarcastic smile. "BIG NO!"
"But-"
"Thank you for wanting to work here. If you don't want to, please submit a resignation letter at my desk this afternoon. I'm waiting," said Rosa without saying much.
