Chapter 28 - A LOVELY SURPRISE FROM HAYAM

Vania's vision widened when she arrived at the waterfall area. In the vacant lot near the waterfall, there is a tent and a bonfire that has been arranged neatly.

Vania steps running there. She gaped and jumped for joy right in front of Hayam.

"Cool!" shouted Vania childishly. She ran to Hayam. She gave the man a tight hug full of happiness.

"Shall we stay in a tent tonight?" asked Vania curiously.

Hayam commented with a small smile. He was grateful in his heart because Vania liked the tent he had prepared.

"If you want, we can stay here for the night," said Hayam wisely.

"Wow, I only brought a change of clothes," said Vania. There was a hint of regret in her words. "If I bring three or four sets of clean clothes, I'll want to stay here two or three nights."

"You want to stay more long time here?" Hayam's right eyebrow raised. He didn't know that Vania really liked camping. "I don't think you'd like to spend the night in a tent with an open nature like this."

"I like it as long as I don't need to build the tent," laughed Vania. Her smile was as bright as the sky and the sunlight in the sky.

Hayam kissed Vania's lips softly. "We just stayed the night. Next time, we can come back here and have fun for three days and two nights," explained Hayam.

"Yes," said Vania in agreement. "Besides, we're getting married. We can plan a lot of fun things every weekend. I hope you're not too busy huh?"

"Yes," answered Hayam briefly.

The man took Vania into the tightly closed tent. Vania tidied up the inside of the tent while Hayam started a small fire using the pile of wood that had been prepared.

Hayam had asked his assistant for help to coordinate with the village youth. He paid the village youths to vacate the area around the waterfall and build a tent and bonfire.

Vania put her backpack inside the tent. She stepped out wearing her swimming suit.

"Wow, you can't wait to dive in the waterfall, huh," Hayam teased. The man smiled at the beautiful body of his future wife.

"Of course, yes. The waterfall is nice. It's not that big. I want to swim relaxed there, yes, "said Vania.

She stepped happily into the waterfall. Vania soaked her body in a pool of waterfalls that felt cold.

The cold air is so cool on the body. Vania could feel her body so relaxed enjoying this fantastic freshness.

Hayam finished his bonfire. He boiled water to make coffee or tea. After that, he took a fishing rod and fished at the edge of the waterfall.

"You want to bait me?" she asked. She laughed crisply as he looked at Hayam who looked serious in baiting his fishing hook.

Hayam smirked. "If you are fishing, the bait must be bank interest," said Hayam. "You wouldn't like fish pellets, would you?"

"Of course. I'm a human, not a mermaid," replied Vania. "Are there any fish here?"

"The locals said there were but they told me to just relax while fishing," said Hayam.

"Well, I want to try diving. Who knows I can get fish," said Vania. She pulled over and approached Hayam. "Honey, do you have a fishing net?"

"Yup! You just take it in the box near the tent," said Hayam. "Be careful, okay. There's a box of rice with vegetables and noodles for us to eat tonight."

"Yes," said Vania.

Vania's steps moved leisurely towards the box that Hayam was referring to. She took the fishing net and swam back into the waterfall.

Vania put on her swimming goggles so her vision was clearer. There, she could see there were crabs and fish. They all looked big and were hiding among the rocks on the deep of the waterfall.

Vania smiled. She returned to the surface and took in more oxygen. Only then did she dive back in and net the freshwater fish and crabs.

"Dear! Look at this catch of mine!" shouted Vania when she returned to the surface of the waterfall. She swam closer to Hayam. With great pride, he showed off his catch to Hayam.

"Wow, you are very talented as a diver," said Hayam. "Looks like you could be a villager, huh?"

Vania laughed. "Yeah, maybe I have a talent as villager her. I really like going to the village," said Vania.

She reminisced about her childhood. At that time, her parents used to take her to visit her grandmother's house in the Magelang area. Her grandmother lived in a beautiful remote village.

There, Vania learned to grow plants in gardens and rice fields to find fish. Beautiful times. Vania missed back that time.

"Are you daydreaming?" said Hayam. He stared fixedly at Vania.

Vania woke up from her daydream. She immediately smiled awkwardly. "Oh no. I only remember my childhood," said Vania. She sat by Hayam's side and rested her head on Hayam's shoulder.

"What was your childhood like?" asked Hayam.

He rubbed Vania's cheek which felt cold. Hayam took off his shirt. He put his shirt on Vania's body.

"Don't let you get a fever," said Hayam. He looked at her with concern.

Hayam knew that Vania lacked of love because her nuclear family was scattered when she was a teenager. Because of that, Vania tended to be spoiled whenever she was with Hayam.

Fortunately, Hayam likes spoiled women. He was happy to see Vania being honest and dependent on him.

"When I was little, I liked to go to the big river," said Vania. "There, I swam all day and caught fish. My parents would fish and make grilled fish there. it feels so good."

"I did something good meaning for you now, right?" replied Hayam.

"Yes, you remind me of my good past. I'm happy to be with you now," said Vania honestly. She looked closely at Hayam's face.

Hayam smiled. He kissed her lips softly. "Now you have to enjoy all this with a happy heart. Promise me to always live happily when you become my wife," said Hayam.

Vania's crisp laugh was heard.

"I'm always happy when I'm with you," said Vania. "You have to be happy too, huh?" "Yes," said Hayam with a nod of his head.

Hayam felt his fishing line start to move.

He stopped making out with Vania and immediately grabbed the fishing rod. "Got the fish?"

asked Vania enthusiastically. Hayam head nodded.

He immediately mustered his strength to take the fish. Vania encouraged Hayam.

She hoped Hayam could get a big fish. "ARGH!"

Hayam shouted as he pulled the fish. Hayam caught a large fish.

Vania clapped her hands cheerfully.

"Big catch!" exclaimed Vania happily. She smiled broadly at Hayam. "Yeah, let's burn!"

invite Hayam. "Everything for you."
